If You Would Like To Generate Income On The Internet, You Have To Learn How To Flip Websites Just Like A Professional
Written by Mike Stanzi on December 8, 2011 – 9:57 am -Should you be aiming to make cash on the web, you are probably aware that it seems that everyday new ways are being presented on how you can do this. As a result of this it is very simple to overlook some of the more longstanding strategies for profiting on the internet and one single area that continues to provide a way to generate some quick cash is the buying and selling of internet domain names. If you currently have domains and websites, these are virtual real estate that may be traded for a potentially decent profit. The reasons domain names may be profitable is a subject we can examine more deeply.
More information on flipping websites revealed
It is a simple fact that some extremely valuable domains have been purchased and sold over the years and if you are just coming into this marketplace you will run into people who do this full time. Obtaining domains that are not already taken has become more complicated and it is still the situation that dot coms are the most sought after and then dot nets and dot orgs. The strategy to succeed at this now is to become knowledgeable about where the value is currently so that you can spot the appropriate opportunities.
Short domain names possess the potential to make you some revenue and those with the least characters are likely to be priced at the highest level. As more social network type sites pop up, these type of domains can grow to be very marketable as they can produce a unique and original sounding name. Clearly, some will be much more marketable than others and so you need to get a feel for what seems right. If you aim to get your own insights into what is currently being bought and sold, then your knowledge of the kind of domain you want to acquire will help you spot the right opportunity.
A second variety of domain is what is known as a search term name and if you have done any type of keyword research you will recognize what this refers to. Google’s keyword tool is utilized by many people for investigation in internet marketing and, in domain research, the exact match configurations are often used. The specific domain for a keyword with a good number of exact searches could be profitable if it is actually unregistered. The dot net and dot org extensions can be rewarding if you find that the more popular dot com has already been registered. Domains in some markets have greater value than in some others and you will get a feel for this as you come to be more involved in the process.
Another variety of domain extension are ones that correspond with a specific country and this is being given extra attention in the domain sector. The reason is that there are still domains out there in potentially high value markets that could therefore make sound investments. If you view the market, you will see that you are a lot more aware of where the value is. Sedo is one of the largest sites online for retailing domains so you need to discover what goes on there and become a member of a forum like NamePros or DNForum.
There is a learning curve at first and if you accept this, you can start to generate profits from the domains you have.
Mike has been concentrating on a comprehensive assortment of ideas that go from China Visa to internship in shanghai. We have received several reactions from hate to extreme support.

Information On How To Start Blogging For Profit
Written by Sophia Anderson on October 23, 2011 – 4:59 pm -Internet marketing has evolved in a great way and it’s difficult to envisage a world that has no blogs and other social media. However, many of these developments have just been around for a few years. Take the example of WordPress, which has millions of worldwide users even though it was just introduced in 2003. Earlier, most people used WordPress as a sort of online diary and never considered that it would become the hot online business tool that it is nowadays. Other blogging platforms exist also but in this article, we will look at ways to monetize self-hosted WordPress blogs.
If you decide to go ahead and put up your own blog, you are going to have to decide what the theme of your blog will be and the lucrativeness of your specific market. If you are are looking to have this web site produce the bulk of your revenue, this is exceedingly important. Per se, you are going to be considered as an expert in your selected niche. Hence, if you are particularly knowledgeable in a topic or have a strong interest for something, then this route could be an irresistible pick for you. Other online marketers use their blogs to get their brand established.
Your site will become known as a go-to resource if you provide quality content. Promoting your own and other people’s products will become an option as more people return to your site frequently. There exists a tough balance between not enough and too much promotion. By giving quality free content, your readers are going to be more likely to trust you when it comes to purchasing a product you recommend.
With the comprehensive evolution of WordPress, numerous people are right now easily using it to create market mini blog sites. As soon as you have done your keyword research and found a good niche, you can obtain an exact match domain name and put up your site using WordPress. Has Flippa Marketplace Been Going Slow These Couple of Years?
Written by flipflop on July 25, 2011 – 6:57 am -
Have you tried looking around Flippa marketplace lately? The market has been going slow in my opinion, compared to ‘before’ the global economic recession back in 2008.
OK, before the global economic recession in 2008, when someone created an auction on the marketplace (back then it was SitePoint marketplace) the chance of a website to sell was probably as high as 79% to 90%, given that the seller was committed to his auction, the auction itself had some good descriptions, revenues and traffics sometimes didn’t matter much. And then the economic recession came and you see some significant decline in buying/selling activities. Most importantly, a website that could usually sell for above $1,000 only sold for $300.
Luckily, the economy started to recover during 2009 and so was the SitePoint marketplace. Around this time they branched out the marketplace to ‘Flippa’, and started charging more for every listing, plus success fees for every successful transaction. I remember everyone was complaining about this new system, even trashing the design and logo of this new marketplace that is Flippa. I was intrigued to test if there was any significant changes in the health of the marketplace itself following this new change. I created two auctions right away and both auctions ended with the websites sold above my reserve price. My following auctions after that also ended with the websites being sold above my reserve price. This, and also by looking at the marketplace at the time, very much proved that along with the recovery of the economy, Flippa marketplace was also experiencing recovery in regards of selling/buying activities, as well as recovery of the ‘market price’ for the websites being sold.
OK, so the marketplace recovered from the 2008 recession, and 2009 was kind of a good year for website flippers, but then there was the collapse of US dollar in 2010, and the Flippa marketplace once again showed significant slowdown in sales activities as well as overall market price for websites being sold, especially in mid of 2010. And I’m not seeing much changes to that since then. The global economy hasn’t improved much, while US dollar continues to weaken. And Flippa marketplace is on a slowdown. Read more »
